The GoodCoin™ Giving Fund creates opportunities for corporations, donors, and prospective donors to provide support to charitable organizations and causes that align with their interests. We operate www.goodcoingiving.org (the "Site") and work in partnership with you to grow the world’s heart. To do this we seek to build a trusting relationship with you.
When you visit this Site, we collect information that your browser sends to us such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We use a third-party service (Google Analytics) to collect, monitor, and analyze this data. This information helps us to improve the Site. We honor “do not track” signals and do not track when your browser’s do not track (DNT) mechanism is in place.
In addition, we may at times request from you and collect from you certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you such as your name, email address, and charitable interests. We take special care to protect the identity of the charitable causes you support, providing you the option of giving anonymously. We may use your Personal Information to contact you with information on your charitable interests, announcements of changes in our policies, or other information we believe that you will find useful but aim to do so in a way that is consistent with building trust and protecting your personal information.
Aside from this collecting and sharing of information necessary for the basic functions of the Site we do not share your personal information with others and NEVER sell your information to others.
As we have written above, the security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
